A Taste Of L.A.
This day went rather smoothly, it was valentine’s day and we decided to check out A Taste of L.A. which was recommended to us by a friend. He urged us to try their Spinach pizza, commenting that it was really good. Unfortunately, because it was a special occasion they had a pre-set menu and the pizza wasn’t included in it.

When we got there, we we’re on waiting list, the place was packed. There were lots of couples as well as families too, we didn’t wait that long, lucky for us that there were some free seats available.

rose ascent and candle in our table
The place has a nice ambiance, with soft music and candle lit tables. The aroma of food around was enticing as well. We we’re starve by that time and we frantically scanned the menu, realizing what I mentioned earlier, we settled for Barbecued US Baby Back Ribs and some pork (can’t remember the name) for our main course,

Baby Back Ribs with fresh tomato barbecue sauce. Took this one after finishing the whole thing. I couldn’t be bothered while eating. This is definitely worth your money. 2 thumbs up!
this came with complimentary appetizers, we picked, ceasar salad and sweet corn soup. Then, we also ordered So-Like-Rockafellah,

So-Like-Rockafellah! Oysters with spinach, double cream and bacon & cheese.
which was most recommended in the blogs I’ve read prior to coming there. We decided not to order desserts because we we’re already too full.

sorry for the blurred photos :p
The service was fast and the food did not disappoint. We ate to our heart’s content. We will definitely go back for the Spinach pizza and also to try out some of their desserts.
